Kathryn + Phil
How they met, by Kathryn: Philip and I met our freshman year of high school on St. Patrick’s Day, which was shortly before my 15th birthday. A mutual friend introduced us over coffees after school at Spillin’ the Beans in Downtown Troy. Little did I know at the time that Philip and I would spend the next 9.5 years dating, including the remaining three years of high school and six years of college/graduate school. Time has flown and I can’t believe it’s been this long since I met that blue eyed boy sipping a cup of coffee he absolutely hated to try to impress me! We have truly grown into ourselves together, and firmly believe that we wouldn’t be who and where we are today without each other. Safe to say our engagement this fall came as a surprise to absolutely no one (I was voted “Most Likely to Marry their High School Sweetheart” in my senior yearbook). We are so excited to spend the rest of our lives together and know this first decade of our relationship is only the beginning for us.
