Val + Tom
I've known Val for a few years via the wedding industry and was so so honored and excited when she reached out and asked me to capture her wedding at The Mansion Inn. These two truly love each other. It was so clear throughout the entire day. I didn't think Tom was going to make it through the first look, he was so nervous/excited, I tried to move fast because I thought he might just turn around to see her before she asked! He didn't, but just barely! They then did something I've never seen at a wedding, which is extremely rare for me to be able to say, having been at over 400 of them. They each wrote letters to their own parents and to each others parents and shared them in front of the camera, which, what a beautiful moment and memory. They they shared letters to each other and then to Tom's son. It was spectacular and I'm so thrilled they thought to do this and to have it captured! They then shared a very special ceremony, a lovely dinner and moved to the barn to dance the night away! It was the perfect day! Cheers to these two and to so many more happy years together!
