This Kerhonkson Elopement was the finale to a wild ride for this couple in 2020! They had their plans shaken up back in March when lockdown was issued, but opted to still get married on 4/24, their origonal wedding date and being the easygoing people that they are, they were ok with me trying out virtual photography for their ceremony and some portraits. I think Stephanie said it best when I emailed them the photos and she replied, ‘omg they look so much better than I’d have ever thought!’ and I replied, ‘HA! Me too, who knew!?”. After their 4/24 wedding, they opted to postpone the party to November, but as the summer went by, they realized that November was not going to look the way they’d anticipated and already being married, they decided to scrap the big event (I think everyone is over postponing at this point!) and grab a few nights alone in a cabin in the Catskills and meet up for some portraits at Minnewaska State Park. This day was such a sweet finale to 2020. They read vows they had not read before, shared a few speical moments together and renewed their husband and wife status! Cheers to these two amazing people, their flexible spirits and to always being fine to go with the flow!
