June Wedding at The Roundhouse for Margaret and Jake
This June wedding at The Roundhouse in Beacon, NY could be an actual guidebook to what IMO is the perfect wedding!
It began with absolute pouring rain (lots of good luck!), so much so, the back of my dress was soaked just carrying things inside. I'm then thinking to myself, what will plan b, c, and d be for their first look, family photos, wedding party etc. We proceed with their getting ready photos and LET ME TELL YOU, these two have the absolute best group of friends. Dancing around the room, enjoying their time together, supporting each other, the gals literally cheering for Margaret and not questioning anything, just 'sounds great!' (that's the attitude I like to hear!).
I met Margaret and asked her her feelings on the rain, that was at that moment, a bit lighter, but still coming down. She said, 'we are just going to embrace it. Umbrellas if needed.' Again, music to my ears and this attitude, somehow always makes the rain either stop or you get the best photos while cuddled under said umbrella! By the time it was right to head to the first look, the rain had STOPPED. We ended up able to do all the photos we had originally planned OUTSIDE in all of my most favorite spots! It was magical!
We then ventured inside for their Ketubah signing and I have such a love for Jewish weddings and their ceremonies. I'd venture to say there are no others quite as beautiful and somehow each is unique. A favorite moment during this one was when the Rabbi asked both Margaret and Jake to go to their parents to receive blessings from them before joining together and well, there was not a single dry eye!
The rest of the night was just as magical as the beginning of the day and was filled with cocktails, amazing food, tons of laughter and truly was a celebration to remember!
Cheers to the newlyweds and to so many more happy years together!
