the story of

Ashley + Brian

An intimate wedding in Acadia. Is there any more dreamy a phrase?! Ashley and Brian kicked off this day with a sunrise first look and ceremony, followed by a day of hiking and hanging out with their 19 guests and ventured back together as a group for cocktails and dinner at Sweet Pea's cafe and it truly could not have been more perfect. The florist included citronella leaves in the bouquet to ward off mosquitoes (perfect!), the weather was sunny and cool (perfect!), they brought their three dogs as their wedding party (most perfect choice ever!), the food was chefy and amazing (perfect!) and they saw the milky way from the very table they had dinner at (PERFECT!)!

If you've never been to Acadia, take a nod from these two and plan your next trip or your intimate wedding for the coast of Acadia National Park. You will be so glad you did!

On a personal note, I met Ashley through a past bride of mine, it turned out she made wedding cakes in NYC and Long Island! She then did cakes for a few weddings I had in the city and we became quick friends. She then referred her brother to me when he got married in 2019 and when she messaged me last fall about her wedding, I was just beyond excited to be there! Her and Brian are meant to be, to peas in a pod and I truly could not be happier for them and their families! Cheers to the newlyweds and to so many more happy years together!
