This Hudson Valley Wedding had everyone in attendance laughing, crying and having the best day ever! What will get you the best wedding photos ever? A great team, being VERY on time to start the day (it makes all the difference, trust me!), and being game for anything. This wedding day was right in the path of Tropical Storm Debbie. We could have of course done everything inside, but when you're at a location with beautiful grounds, you always hope to use them! Everyone being ready upon my arrival allowed us to get right down to business and get all the photos we hoped to BEFORE the rain began! I was shocked, they were shocked and the bride had zero hesitation when heading out onto wet ground. She could have been all worried that her dress would get dirty, which would have limited the photos we were able to get, but she didn't. Her exact words, 'it's fine, it's going to get dirty!' and off she went. She's so right. It IS going to get dirty, so don't waste your time worrying about it or passing up experiences to try to keep it clean. It's mean to be worn, it means you lived your day! These two absolutely lived their day! It was spectacular! A million congrats to these newlyweds and to so many more happy years together!
