This Hotel Lilien proposal unfolded in a magical way! After a few months of emails with Dan, the day arrived! We were then messaging in real time regarding what we were both wearing and he sent at least 5 messages going between faded blue denim and navy pants (which we laughed about a lot, later!). The plan was to propose at the Kaaterskill Falls viewing platform, but nobody could have anticipated a sunny 74 degree day in April that brought out the crowds. So after seeing each other there, we walked about a minute further to a random quiet spot and the magic unfolded! Marissa was SO happy she forgot to initially say yes, but based on all the clues, it was a very very loud yes, even without the actual word at first! After a walk through the trees we headed back to Hotel Lilien for some more photos. The hotel is iconic, if you haven't been, you should go. It has an amazing spirit, great food, wonderful hospitality and is a place you'll quickly wish you lived at! We took more photos inside and out and had the best time celebrating their new engagement with some really sweet moments! Take a peek!
